Sofa cleaning in Zurich – on site at your home

We clean upholstered furniture in your apartment – Fabric and leather, in Zurich and throughout the canton. No transportation, no weeks without a sofa. What distinguishes us from a cleaning company: We are not a cleaning company, but a sofa company. We have prepared over 400 used sofas so far that they could be sold again. That is, we look at a reference, what it tolerates – and what destroys it.

Why the material decides on the result

The most common damage to a sofa is not caused by dirt, but by the wrong cleaning. A few examples from our workshop:

  • Aniline leather is unprotected and sucks water like a delete sheet. A steam cleaner or wet cloth leaves a rim that never goes away. Aniline is purified dry and subsequently re-greased.
  • Nubuk and suede Felting when wet. They are brushed, not washed.
  • Pigmented leather (Most modern sofas) have a top layer and can tolerate a wet cleaning – but no alkaline cleaners that dissolve exactly this layer.
  • Buffalo and nappalder need care after every cleaning, otherwise the leather will become hard and tears on the seat edges.
  • Microfibre and chenille tolerate spray extraction well – but only if enough water is extracted again. If moisture remains in the foam, the sofa smells worse after three days than before.
  • Viscose mixtures They get water edges. Here, work is carried out only at points and with very little liquid.

Therefore, we ask before each appointment for the material and for a photo of the care label under the seat cushion. Who does not ask this, works on good luck.

Sometimes the cleaning is not worth it – then we say that

If the foam is sat through, the leather is torn open at the edges or the cover is thin at the seams, the best cleaning will bring a clean old sofa. We’ll tell you this on the phone beforehand instead of selling you an appointment. In this case, it is usually worth processed designer sofa from our stock – and we take your old one with us at the delivery.

This is how an appointment runs.

  1. Photo and material. A picture of the sofa and one of the care label via WhatsApp – this results in what is possible.
  2. Offer. Fixed price before the date, no surprise on the bill.
  3. cleaning on site. Depending on the size, one to three hours. We work in the apartment, the sofa stays with you.
  4. Drying. Fabric is usable again after four to eight hours, leather immediately.

Frequent Questions About Sofa Cleaning

How long does it take for the sofa to dry again?

In the case of fabric cleaning with spray extraction, four to eight hours, depending on the ventilation and cushion thickness. Cleaned and maintained leather is immediately usable again.

Can every sofa be cleaned wet?

No. Aniline leather, nubuk and suede must not be cleaned wet – they get edges or matted. Viscose mixed fabrics are also sensitive to water. Therefore, the care label determines the procedure, not the stain.

Do red wine or coffee stains really go out?

Fresh spots usually completely. Old, already several self-treated stains often only partially – who has rubbed with the wrong remedy, has usually already pressed the dye into the fiber. We say before the deadline what is realistic.

Do you also clean carpets?

Not at the moment. We only offer what we master cleanly ourselves – with us this is upholstered furniture and especially leather.

Will I get the sofa again like new?

Clean yes, new no. A cleanse removes dirt, stains and smells. They cannot remove foam, cracked leather or worn seams – This requires an upholstery or another sofa.

Do I need to prepare something?

Only space around the sofa and an accessible socket. We bring everything else with us.
